Dr. Jessica Thompson is a board-certified equine internal medicine specialist and mixed animal relief veterinarian based out of Austin, Texas. She graduated from Texas Christian University with a BS in Biology in 2001, and went on to earn her veterinary degree from Texas A&M in 2005, followed by an equine internship in Ocala, Florida, and a residency in Equine Internal Medicine at Louisiana State University, where she also completed a MS in Veterinary Clinical Sciences in 2009.

Dr. Thompson achieved her specialty certification in Large Animal Internal Medicine in 2010. She has since worked in a mix of academic and private practices in Texas, Indiana, Oregon and New York. She currently divides her time between veterinary work, teaching yoga, enjoying Austin’s live music and dancing scene, and pursuing as many outdoor adventures as possible.
