Dr. Rivera is originally from Puerto Rico. He graduated in 2008 with a Bachelors of Science in biology from University of Puerto Rico-Mayaguez. He completed his veterinary degree in 2018 at Texas A&M, and an equine internship at Wellington, FL in 2019.

In 2022, Dr. Rivera completed his internal medicine residency at Texas A&M, and practiced in Canada as a general/internal medicine ambulatory practitioner. Dr. Rivera’s veterinary medicine interests include respiratory disease, endoscopy, gastroscopy, gastrointestinal disease, lameness, and neonatal care.

During his time away from the clinic, he enjoys spending time with his wife and trying new restaurants, and attending sports events including baseball, basketball, and horse racing.
